General civil litigation, including family law (divorce, adoption, child custody, child support, and visitation), probate and estates (including wills and powers of attorney), and business matters (both formation and litigation).

BIO:
Donna is a native of Overton County, Tennessee, but her roots run deep throughout the Upper Cumberland (including Putnam, White, Jackson, Fentress, and Pickett Counties). After graduating from Livingston Academy, Donna attended the University of Tennessee for both her undergraduate and law school studies.

In college, Donna was a member of Pi Sigma Alpha political science honor society and Alpha Kappa Psi professional business fraternity. She received her Bachelor of Science in Public Administration, with honors, and also earned a minor in political science. In law school, Donna participated in the legal clinic housing focus group, the Tennessee high school moot court program, the Knoxville Police Department ride-along program, and the Hamilton Burnett American Inn of Court. She received the American Jurisprudence Award (for the top grade in her class) in both Contracts II and International Law. Donna was the recipient of the Hunton & Williams, Harold C. Warner, and Arthur B. Hyman scholarships and graduated from law school cum laude.

Donna is also a graduate of the American Trial Lawyers Association National College of Advocacy.

Donna is a past president of the Cumberland County Bar Association and past vice-president of the Upper Cumberland Trial Lawyers Association. She has served as a volunteer instructor for the juvenile court services "Street Law" program and was awarded the Outstanding Service Award by the Tennessee Legal Services pro bono disaster-related legal assistance program.

Donna is also a published professional writer, having written for Tennessee Trial Lawyer magazine and co-authored a Christian fiction novel, The Deliberation. In her free time, Donna enjoys traveling, camping, and spending time with family and friends.
